Carpenters Who Frame, Plaster and Paint the Wall
A new wall starts with the frame. Our carpenters build it, then the same team sheets it, sets it and paints it, so the wall is finished without bringing in anyone else.
That suits smaller carpentry too: one stud wall, a new doorway, a few rotten battens. You get one quote for the timber, the plaster and the paint.
Carpentry for Walls & Ceilings
From a few rotten battens to a new wall across a room. The frame goes in, then the plaster and paint go on.
Stud Walls & Partitions
Timber or steel stud walls to split a room, close off a space or add a study.
Ceiling Joists & Battens
Sagging or water-damaged ceilings opened up, joists and battens replaced, then sheeted again.
Doorways, Nib Walls & Openings
New door openings framed, and nib walls or wing walls built to suit the room.
Bulkhead Framing
Bulkheads framed to hide ducting, pipes or new lighting, then lined with plasterboard.
Water & Termite Damaged Framing
Damaged timber in walls and ceilings cut out and replaced before the new linings go on.
Plastering & Painting the New Framing
Once the carpentry is done, the same crew sheets, sets and paints it.
Carpentry for Gold Coast Homes and Businesses
Carpentry and plastering make offcuts and dust, so floors and furniture are covered and the area is cleaned up before we leave.
ResidentialHome Carpentry
New internal walls, doorways, ceiling joists and damaged framing in houses, units and older Queenslanders.
CommercialCommercial Carpentry
Stud partitions and bulkhead framing for offices and shops, plastered and ready to paint.
We cover floors before the saw comes out and leave the room swept and tidy.
Plaster Finish Levels Over New Framing
A straight frame makes a flat wall. Once the plasterboard is up, AS/NZS 2589 sets the levels of finish, and we suggest the level based on the light in the room and the paint going on.

Level 3: Basic finish for new walls
Joints and screws set. Fine for garages, sheds and storerooms.
Level 4: Standard finish for new walls
The level most homes get, with flat or low-sheen paint in normal light.
Most wallsLevel 5: Smoothest finish for new walls
A skim coat over the whole wall, for gloss paint or walls lit from the side.

25+ Years of Carpentry, Plastering and Painting
More than 25 years in the trade. Frames are checked straight before the plasterboard goes up, because a crooked frame shows through the paint.
