Plasterers and Painters in One Gold Coast Team
Most painting starts with the walls. We plaster them, fix the dents and cracks, then paint them, so you are not chasing two trades or waiting between them.
You deal with one crew from the quote to the last coat. Patching, sanding, sealing and painting happen in order, with no gap while you wait for a painter to turn up.
Painting Services for Gold Coast Homes
One room, a whole house or an office floor. We prep the surfaces, fix the plaster and paint it.
Interior Wall & Ceiling Painting
Walls and ceilings painted in the colour and sheen you pick, in houses, units and townhouses.
Painting New Plasterboard
New plasterboard gets a sealer coat before the colour goes on, so it dries even.
Full House Repaints
One tired room or every room in the house, freshened up in one booking.
Feature Walls, Doors & Trims
A feature wall in a stronger colour, plus doors, skirting boards and architraves.
Office & Shop Painting
Offices, shops and fit-outs painted with as little disruption to your trading as we can manage.
Patching & Prep Before Painting
Holes, cracks and dents filled and sanded, so the paint sits flat and the repair does not show.
House Painting and Commercial Painting on the Gold Coast
Floors and furniture get covered before any paint is opened, and the rooms are tidied before we go.
ResidentialHouse Painting
Repaints, new walls, extensions and repaired ceilings, patched where needed and painted in your colours.
CommercialCommercial Painting
Offices, shops and fit-outs, from a new partition wall to a full repaint of the floor.
Paint and plaster dust get everywhere if you let them, so we cover up first and clean up properly at the end.
Plaster Finish Levels Before Painting
AS/NZS 2589, the Australian and New Zealand standard for plasterboard, sets levels of finish. The level that suits your walls depends on the paint sheen and the light in the room. We will go through it with you before any painting starts.

Level 3: Basic plaster finish
Joints and screws set. Fine for garages, storerooms and walls getting a heavy texture.
Level 4: Standard plaster finish
What most Gold Coast homes get. Works with flat and low-sheen paint in normal light.
Most homesLevel 5: Smoothest plaster finish
A skim coat over the whole wall. Best for gloss or semi-gloss paint, or walls where strong light runs across them.

25+ Years of Plastering and Painting
More than 25 years on the tools means the plaster under your paint is done right, and a good finish starts there.

Painting FAQs for the Gold Coast
Common questions about our painting work.
Questions about painting your home?
Call us about the rooms, walls or ceilings you want painted.
Call (07) 5315 8349What painting services do you offer on the Gold Coast?
Interior walls and ceilings, painting new plasterboard, full house repaints, feature walls, doors, skirting boards and architraves, office and shop painting, and the patching and prep before any of it. Exterior painting? Ask us.
Can you plaster and paint the same wall?
Yes. That is most of what we do. The wall is patched or plastered, sanded, sealed and painted by one crew.
Are your painters licensed in Queensland?
Yes. All Paintworx Pty Ltd holds QBCC Licence No. 15511709, and MGH Contracting Pty Ltd holds QBCC Licence No. 15576119. You can check both on the QBCC website.
Do your painters clean up afterwards?
Yes. Floors and furniture are covered while we paint, and the rooms are tidied and our rubbish taken away when we finish.
Why does new plasterboard need a sealer before painting?
New plaster and the paper face soak up paint at different rates. A sealer coat evens that out, so the colour and sheen come up even across the whole wall.
Which Gold Coast suburbs do your painters cover?
Coomera, Pimpama and Hope Island in the north, through Southport, Surfers Paradise, Broadbeach and Robina, down to Burleigh Heads, Palm Beach and Coolangatta.
